Connect AI × DOOM

Doom built from live business data, where every monster is a real record.

You ask Claude a business question, like "Which customers are at risk right now?" Claude answers it through the CData Connect AI MCP server, and the answer becomes a Doom level. Each room is an app that holds part of the answer, like Salesforce, Zendesk or Stripe. Each monster is a record from that app, and the urgent ones are pink demons. Keycards match your permissions, and anything Connect AI refused to hand over, like a lookup by Social Security number, sits behind a red door with no key.

You can play it yourself, or let Claude play while a side panel shows every decision and tool call it makes. Shoot a record and the game re-reads it live from the source app. Everything goes through Connect AI's read-only tools, so nothing in your apps changes. It runs on a Mac, and setup takes about ten minutes.

how it works

  1. 01

    Query

Claude Code runs headless with Connect AI as its only MCP server. It finds the three apps that answer your question and writes one SQL query for each.

  2. 02

    Build

Every query returns the same four columns: Id, Label, Detail, Hot, so any connector can become a room.

  3. 03

    Refresh

A small bridge re-runs each room every 15 seconds, so the monsters always match your data. With --claude-plays, Claude also gets a Doom MCP server so it can play the level.
